About BYD
Ahead of its official launch in India on March 5, 2024, BYD India is gearing up to introduce its third all-electric model, the Seal sedan. Recent leaks have unveiled the technical specifications of this Chinese sedan, adding to the anticipation surrounding its debut. In terms of its specifications, the BYD Seal is projected to come in a single variant featuring an 82.5kWh battery pack. This configuration promises an impressive claimed range of 570km on a single charge, as per the WLTP Cycle standards. Powering the sedan is a rear axle-mounted motor capable of delivering 230bhp and 360Nm of peak torque, ensuring a swift acceleration from zero to 100kmph in under six seconds.
