About Cardi B is expecting her third child.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Thursday, sharing two photos where she cradles her belly and looks down at it affectionately.
This joyous news comes on the heels of her filing for divorce from rapper Offset, a representative for Cardi B confirmed to NBC News.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power!” Cardi B, 31, wrote in her caption. “You’ve reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
Cardi B and Offset, who married in 2017, have two children together: a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture, and a 2-year-old son, Wave.
Their divorce “is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable,” a representative for Cardi B stated on Thursday.
Cardi B had previously filed for divorce from Offset in 2020, but the couple decided to reconcile. The rapper frequently expresses her affection for her children on social media, sharing photos and celebrating their milestones on Instagram.

Last month, she wished a happy birthday to her “beautiful, gentle, amazing daughter,” writing in an Instagram post that she has been “growing up with you cause I learned sooo much by just being your mom.”

“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns, and tests lying down,” Cardi B wrote, “but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
