NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for Wednesday, Dec. 6 include Jimmy Butler

The 2023-24 NBA season continues with 11 games on Wednesday night, and a loaded NBA DFS player pool means lots of options for NBA DFS tournaments, cash games and 50-50s on FanDuel and DraftKings. Targeting games with high totals is always a popular strategy in daily Fantasy basketball, and that will probably make Nets vs. Hawks a popular source of NBA DFS stacks tonight. Both teams rank top 10 in the NBA in scoring, and their total on Wednesday night is a league-high 242.5 points.

So how much exposure should you have to Trae Young, Cameron Thomas, Dejounte Murray and Mikal Bridges in your NBA DFS lineups, and where else can you find value that allows you to afford superstars like Joel Embiid, Luka Doncic and Stephen Curry? Before making your NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with more than $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure highlighted Lakers forward LeBron James as one of his top picks in his NBA DFS player pool on both sites. The result: James had 31 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and five steals, returning 69 points on DraftKings and 70.1 points on FanDuel. Anybody who included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Wednesday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, December 6

For Wednesday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Jazz guard Keyonte George, who is listed at $6,700 on DraftKings and $5,800 on FanDuel. The Baylor product was the No. 16 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, and the combo guard has already carved out a significant role for himself with the Jazz, having just celebrated his 20th birthday last month.

George is averaging 10.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game this season over 26.1 minutes per contest, and he’s taken on even more minutes since moving into the starting lineup 12 games ago. As a starter, he’s averaged 29.6 minutes and upped his productivity to 12.6 points, 6.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. Utah will be without its top two scorers in Lauri Markkanen (hamstring) and Jordan Clarkson (thigh), so George should be even more of a focal point of the offense on Wednesday.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Heat forward Jimmy Butler ($9,500 on DraftKings and $8,600 on FanDuel). The six-time NBA All-Star is averaging 22.4 points, 5.4 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game, but he’s taken on a more prominent scoring role in his last pair of games.

He’s gotten downhill and attacked the rim, going 27-of-29 from the free-throw line while putting up 69 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. Miami has scored at least 129 points in three of its last four games, and you’ll want to ride the hot hand of the best player on the roster while this offense is in rhythm. See McClure’s other NBA DFS picks right here.
